Dear Band Students and Parents,
With school being cancelled on Tuesday, January 7, the pep band will not perform on Tuesday evening. I’m telling you this, because there is still a chance that the game may take place. I realize that this is the biggest game of the season (RB vs Eureka), but I feel that without having a practice since December 16, it is best that we not perform.
This is one of those decisions that I’m sure will be questioned. Personally, I hope the game is rescheduled so we can play!

It was November 25, 1963 that Sgt. Clark performed taps at the funeral of President John F. Kennedy. Sgt. Clark cracked the sixth note of taps. Many believed it was emotions, but later on Sgt. Clark said that the mistake just happened. Below is a video of Sgt. Clark performing taps.
