4th Grade General Music Sowers Elementary School
It’s a wild and crazy adventure
in 4th grade music! This is just some of what we learn in 4th grade music:
- Learn to quickly (We mean quickly!) name the notes in treble clef.
- Learn to read and write the counting of some really cool rhythms!
- Learn to play some fun songs on our flutophones
- Learn some awesome facts about each of the band instruments, and we get to play some!
- Learn how to match up notes in treble clef to the keys on a piano
- Learn about some real cool old guys who wrote some amazing music
You will not only learn a lot about music in 4th grade, you will also have a wild and
crazy time!

Click on the links below to open podcasts. The podcast should open with your default mp3 player.
How to Listen to our Podcast
You do not need an ipod or an mp3 player to listen online to our podcasts.
Option 1: Click on the link and your browser will open up the mp3 file
using the program (i.e. iTunes, Windows Media or Quick Time) or plugin associated with mp3 files.
Option 2: Right click on the file and select “Save Target As” option.
You will then be able to download the file to your computer to listen the podcast offline or with your mp3 player.
