In less than 24 hours, we’ll have a building full of teachers ready to collaborate and learn!
That’s the best part of these events: they’re catered toward the attendees. The campers will help build the agenda, they will pool their knowledge in each session, and they will return to their classrooms on Monday with some new skills and some new ways to enhance learning in their classroom and in their district.
We have over 50 people signed up, which we feel is a great turnout for a first-time event in a small, rural district. Our swag is lined up and ready to go (thanks to our awesome sponsors), we have our coffee and breakfast items lined up, and we’ve confirmed our favorite local food truck, Pico de Gallo, is going to be available to attendees at lunchtime.
There’s more good news for certified teachers: you’ll be getting four CPDUs for attending! Also, be sure to take the Edcamp Foundation’s survey afterward, as you’ll then be eligible to apply for a $500 impact grant from the Foundation!
Our doors open at 7:30 am, we kickoff at 8:00, and our first sessions start at 8:30. Bring something to take notes, bring an open mind and a willingness to share, and please feel free to bring friends!
See you tomorrow!
