Per Roanoke-Benson School Board policy, all school physicals and updated immunizations for Pre-K, Kindergarten, 6^th grade, and 9^th grade students now need to be turned in by the first day of school, preferably at registration, or students will NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND, starting the first day of the new 2012-13 school year.

Vision exams required for Kindergartners and new students entering Illinois schools for the first time are due October 15, 2012, but may be turned in any time before that date.

Dental exams required for Kindergarten, 2^nd, and 6^th grade students are due May 15, 2013, but may be turned in at any time.

Physicals and vision exams are valid if completed within one year prior to the first day of school, while dental exams are valid if completed within 18 months of the deadline (11/15/11).

Physical exams are good for sports for one calendar year.

This will be a two-part meeting. During the first segment, community members will be given information about a number of issues that were raised during the last facilities planning meeting, and asked for their input.  The items to be addressed include the school district’s long-term goals, finances and funding mechanisms, curriculum, possibilities for district reorganization, and facility configurations.  The first segment will conclude with a vote on how to proceed.

Depending upon the result of the vote, the second segment of the meeting is planned as a continuation of the facilities master planning process that began on March 6. BLDD Architects will present revised solutions based on public input, as well as a range of additional options for consideration.
