The 8th graders will be traveling to Braden Auditorium in Normal to see the Encore presentation of plays by Chamber Theatre on October 20. *Please note: extra credit will be given to students who dress up (not jeans and nice shirt).  Also, we will stop for lunch, so students will need to bring money for lunch that day.

We are reading the following short stories in class and will see these stories presented:

“The Monkey’s Paw”

“The Necklace”

“The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”

“The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County”

“The Tell-Tale Heart”

Well, we’ve got the first week under our belts.  All classes have done a great job so far.  Excellent journal entries were shared today by both 7th and 8th grade language classes.  I look forward to working with everyone!
