Congratulations to Kendall for being named to the 2nd team All-State Scholastic Bowl team!! Kendall was recognized by the IHSSBCA, the Illinois High School Scholastic Bowl Coaches’ Association. Kendall led the Rockets in toss-ups answered, was named to the All-Conference Team, and was on the All-Tournament teams at Peoria Heights and the IHSSBCA Kickoff Tournament in Champaign.

On March 5th the Rockets hosted the IHSA Regional as part of the State Series. The Rockets defeated Tri-Point (Cullom) and Flanagan-Cornell before falling to Eureka in the regional championship match.
The Rockets finish their season with a record of 37-15.
On Feb 18th the Varsity Rockets participated in the annual Masonic Regional Tournament at Eureka. The Rockets defeated Fieldcrest and Dee-Mack, and lost to Peru St. Bede and Peoria Heights to finish with 2-2 record in pool play.
The Rockets season record now stands at 35-15.
Congratulations to Dylan & Kendall on being named to the All-Sectional Scholastic Bowl team!! The All-Sectional team recognizes the top 12 players from the 33 teams assigned to the Dwight Sectional. Dylan & Kendall are now eligible for the All-State team, as well.
On Jan 28th the Varsity Rockets competed in the Tri-County Conference tournament. The Rockets finished the round-robin tournament in 2nd place with a record of 5 – 1. The Rockets improved their overall record to 33-13 for the season.
Kendall and Dylan were both named to the All-Conference team. Kendall finished the day with 22 toss-ups, one behind the conference leader. Dylan correctly answered 18 toss-ups, which was tied for the 3rd-best total of the day.
On Jan 23rd the Rockets completed their conference regular season. The varsity team went 3 – 0, defeating Midland, IVC, and Henry-Senachwine.
The Varsity Rockets finished the regular season in 3rd place at 13 – 5. Their overall record improved to 28 – 12.
The JV Rockets finished the evening 1 – 2, beating Henry-Senachwine and losing to Midland & IVC.
The JV Rockets finished their conference season in 5th place with a record of 9 – 9. The JV completed their season with a record of 12 – 10.
On Jan 21st the Varsity Rockets competed in the annual Peoria Heights Invitational. The Rockets finished as the champions of the consolation bracket, with an overall record of 5 – 1. The Rockets lost a very close match to Ridgeview, then proceeded to defeated Williamsfield, Peoria Heights B, Lewistown, Knoxville, and Spring Valley Hall.
Dylan and Kendall were named to the first-team All-Tournament Team.
The Rockets improved their overall record to 25 – 12, 10 -5 in conference.
On Jan 14th the JV Rockets competed in the annual Peoria Height JV Invitational, finishing in 3rd place. After losing to Mercer County in the opening match, the Rockets won 3 straight at Illini Bluffs, Peoria Heights B, and Princeville.
The JV Rockets improved their overall record to 11 – 8, 8 – 7 in conference.
Due to the weather, the conference matches scheduled for RBHS on Thursday, Jan 12th have been rescheduled (again!!) to Mon, Jan 23rd.
On Jan 9th the Rockets went to Peru St. Bede for another round of CPL matches. The Varsity Rockets went 3 – 0, defeating Ottawa Marquette, Spring Valley Hall, and Peru St. Bede. The varsity team is now 10-5 in conference, 20-11 overall.
The JV Rockets went 0 – 3, losing to Ottawa Marquette, Spring Valley Hall, and Peru St. Bede. The JV team is now 8-7 in conference, 8-7 overall.
