Registration information for RBHS is online at http://www.rb60.com/rbjh/registration/. Registration information will be sent via email during the week of July 18.  Information will be mailed to parents who do not have email access.  On-site registration will also be offered on Thursday, August 4 at 1-4 p.m. and 6 -8 p.m. in the Sowers Elementary Library area.

First Day Exclusion Policy

Per Roanoke-Benson School Board policy, all school physicals and updated immunizations for Pre-K, Kindergarten, 6th grade, and 9th grade students now need to be turned in by the first day of school, preferably at registration, or students will note be allowed to attend classes. Physicals cannot be done by a chiropractor.

Vision exams required for Kindergartners and new students entering Illinois schools for the first time are due no later than October 15th, 2011. Vision exams should be done by an optometrist.

Dental exams required for Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 6th grade students are due no later than May 15th, 2012.

Physicals and vision exams are valid if completed within one year prior to the first day of school, while dental exams are valid if completed within 18 months of the deadline (after 11/15/10). Physical exams for sports are good for one calendar year.

School vision screenings will be given to Pre-K, 2nd graders, 8th graders, new students, and special ed students. Hearing screenings will be given to Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st-3rd graders, new students, and special ed students.
