Mrs. Johnston gave lively presentations on the Rebecca Caudill Young Readers’ Book Award Nominees for 2010. Having read all of the 20 nominated books, Mrs. Johnston gave colorful summaries of each title, using props and a PowerPoint presentation. She answered questions from students and listened to their input on the books they had already read. Any student who has read at least 3 of the 20 nominated books may vote in February for the state winner of the award. R-B Jr. High has participated in the Rebecca Caudill state award program for 15 years.  The winner will be announced in March 2010.
