Congratulations to Clinton Soper, RBHS language arts teacher, who finished a masters program over the summer at Illinois State University. Mr. Soper's degree enables him to teach college dual-credit courses to high school students. The early college credits represent significant tuition savings to our families.
Roanoke-Benson wrote and received a technology grant from the USDA. The grant paid for a video conferencing system called Room Ready. The technology allows Mr. Soper to broadcast his classes to students in other school districts, invite authors to his classroom virtually, and will also be used for a variety of RB educational initiatives.
