Volley for the cure - Tuesday, October 18, 2022 starting a5 5:30 PM - RBHS Gym

The homecoming dance is from 8 to 10 PM. Coronation is at 9:30PM. The public is invited for Coronation - enter through the main entrance to the Commons. The public will be let into the Commons at 9:20.

Chase Martin - Sr. P/SS from Roanoke-Benson was named to the 2022 Class 1A All-State Team on Friday, June 10. Chase, a 4 year varsity starter at RB suffered a traumatic, season ending injury last year in early April but bounced back with a vengeance this season leading his team in every offensive category other than RBI's and Doubles. Chase anchored the pitching staff throwing almost 50 innings this Spring and recording 85 strike outs. Chase was named to the Tri-County All Conference Team (Unanimous) this spring. He will be playing in the Pantagraph All-Star Game on June 20th and the McDonald's All-Star Game on the 21st. He was also awarded the Bill Zeman Scholarship. Chase will be attending BlackHawk Community College in the fall and playing baseball. Good Luck Chase, all well deserved honors. Thanks for your dedication and leadership both on and off the field during your baseball career at Roanoke-Benson.

The RBHS greenhouse will be closed today (Friday, May 6, 2022). It is scheduled to be open the week of May 9, 2022. There are many flowers to choose from. The FFA appreciates your support.

Today's home baseball game is scheduled to be broadcast by the NFHS network. We are aware of some issues with the image around home plate. NFHS has been notified and are working to correct the issue.

Students and Parents: We hope all of you have a relaxing four day Easter Weekend. As a reminder, RB schools will not be in session on Friday, April 15, 2022 through Monday, April 18, 2022. School will resume on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.

Congratulations to Riley on being one of the 18 finalists in the CEO National Pitch contest. There were approximately 300 entries. This is the second year in a row that a RBHS student was in the top 18.
